Welcome to the Turkish Studies Centre (Cameroon)


Established in 2021 at the University of Yaoundé II Soa

The Turkish Studies Centre, officially inaugurated on December 4, 2021, proudly serves as a hub for cultural and academic exchange. The inauguration ceremony was graced by prominent figures, including:

•Professor Adolphe Minkoa She, Rector of the University of Yaoundé II Soa

•Prof. Dr. Birol Akgün, President of the Turkish Maarif Foundation

•H.E. Volkan Işıkçı, Turkish Ambassador to Cameroon

•Representatives from the Ministry of Higher Education, Cameroon

Since its inception, the Centre has successfully trained over 150 students across various proficiency levels (A1, A2, B1, and B2), achieving outstanding results. To support academic excellence, we offer scholarships to top-performing students, enabling them to pursue further studies abroad. Our doors are open to students from diverse countries and backgrounds, creating a vibrant and inclusive learning environment.
